Is face lifts really a good thing?

We often see many Celebrities getting face lifts on a daily basis. The reason why they get it is because they feel they look old and are insecure with how they look. At the moment after they recover it might look good, but in the long run its really just a waste of money out of their pocket. Although the celebrities can afford it after a few years they only end up having to do it again. I feel that its stupid because if you dont do it your just going to end up looking worse then you would if you didnt do anything at all. Some celebrities that i know of that done this are, Joan Rivers, Kathy Griffin, Gene Simmons, Dick clark and etc.

For example lets take Joan Rivers she has had so many face lifts that its almost impossible for her to smile normally because her face is so tight. They think that these things are really helping them look better but its really not, its disgusting it just makes you look worse since you have to keep doing it. If i was a celebrity i would never get a face lift because i honestly dont think that its worth it. I would rather walk around with lines on my face and save myself thousands of dollars.

Below is a picture of Joan Rivers with her many face lifts, before and after.

Z100 & my expieriences !

Z100 is New York's #1 hit music station. They play music everywhere from pop, rock to rap. Their station broadcasts from NYC. They have an abundant amount of djs such as (Elvis Duran, Scary Jones, Daniel Maniero etc). Z100 often holds many contests anywhere from meet and greets with celebrities to tickets to their concerts or even gift cards to your favorite store. The PC Richard and Son theater in Tribeca is sponsored by many radio stations including Z100. They often hold concerts there for a small venue fitting 200 people. People can win tickets to the event through Z100 and any of the other radio stations. Z100 also holds some annual events.

Once a year during the winter season they hold a concert called Jingle Ball. During the Spring season they have a concert called Zootopia. The two events consist of about 10 popular artists of the year. Their is usually a pre party where you can go and hang out with the Djs and have fun doing contests to try to win meet and greets with the celebrities. I have never went to Zootopia but I have gone to Jingle Ball. When I went, the pre party was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Dec 11Th 2009. Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, and Jay Sean performed. For me this was very exciting because I got to see those artists perform Five rows away from the stage. My seats for the actual concert which was held at Madison Square Garden were kind of suckey, I was seated in section 311 on a side view but I was able to manage. Although I didn't get to meet any of the Celebrities I will admit I had an AMAZING time and would love to do it all over again.

The artists that showed up for Jingle Ball 09 were Ke$ha, Justin Bieber, John Mayor, Taylor Swift, Boys like girls, Kris Allen, Jordin Sparks, Owl City, Pitbull, Jay Sean, The Fray and Usher showed up as a surprise guest to perform with Justin Bieber. I was Stoked when I saw him on stage I really couldn't believe it.

Below is a video I took while I was at the Pre Party as well as some pictures =)

Country music

Many people don't appreciate Country music. Nowadays everyone only listens to rap or hip-hop music, i want people to realize there is other music out there besides just rap or hip-hop. I myself never really liked Country music until Taylor Swift came along. Taylor Swift is now one of my favorite artists. I never thought that i would like her music since it was Country but she really proved me wrong. She writes all her lyrics on her own and they come straight from her heart and tell her life stories. Many of her songs teenagers can definitely relate to. Some of my favorite songs from her are "Fifteen" and "You belong with me".
Many teens out there I'm sure can relate to the song "Fifteen". ("When your fifteen and somebody tells you they love you your gonna believe them") when your fifteen your really gullible and if someone that you may have only known for a day tells you they love you, you will most likely believe them. "You belong with me" is a song about a boy that she likes and he is in a relationship with another girl, she explains throughout the song why he should be with her over the girl that he is in the relationship with. Many teen girls face love problems on a day to day basis. All of Taylor's songs are about her problems and things that she deals with on a day to day basis. I will never forget Dec 11th when i went to Jingle Ball and saw her perform, it was one of the best days of my life!

Below is a video of her performing "You belong with me" at Jingle Ball 09 and her music video for "Fifteen".
